Biochemical markers of bone disease:
Biochemical markers of bone disorders are 2 types namely markers of bone resorption and markers of bone formation. Since collagen is a major organic component of bone, its degradative products like telopeptides, pyridinium crosslinks, and hydroxyproline are markers of bone resorption.
